Upon completion of this course, the student will:

- Conduct energy or resource studies as related to the assigned position.
- Distinguish proper application of energy management methods required for task(s) assigned.
- Demonstrate accurate interpretation of energy use data.
- Recommend behavioral and technological modifications necessary to improve energy efficiency.
- Employ data collection and analysis to evaluate energy use as required by proper energy management practices.
- Perform duties as related to the assigned position.
- Conduct a walkthrough survey to identify possible energy saving opportunities.
- Gather relevant energy use information to summarize previously identified energy saving opportunities.
- Identify and compare various approaches to energy that are relevant to the work experience.
- Present collected energy use analyses and recommendations to the work experience employer.
- Apply proper care and safety techniques while performing all activities.
- Demonstrate proper use of all tools required in the work environment.
- Employ safe operation practices and methods.
- Identify proper tool calibration processes to ensure safety.
- Apply appropriate aspects of the mathematics, science, and environmental disciplines as required in the assigned position.
- Collect and share information in an approved format.
